John Saultz, a family physician and medical school professor, is the author of Choosing Faith: The Importance of Belief in Finding Purpose in Life, his first book for a general audience.  Dr. Saultz lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife Sherrie.  They have three children and seven grandchildren.
